I recently had microbraid extensions put into my hair and I LOVE it! My friend Marlyse is from Camaroon, Africa and has been doing braids, extensions and weaves her whole life. The kind of braids I have can be woven into any length or type of hair. (my hair is very short - it falls just below my ears) You could never tell now!! How fun! Anyway, Marlyse works out of a salon here in San Francisco and does every type of braids and weaves: microbraids, Senegalese twists, corn rows, dredlocks, silky dreads, tree braids, etc. (I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch of styles). I'm hoping to add more pictures of other types of braids and extensions. So, if you are in San Francisco or the Bay Area or planning to visit you should try it out! It's a blast! And, the BEST part is that her rates are very reasonable. I was quoted $600 for this style at another salon in San Francisco!!! Needless to say, Marlyse charges way less.
