I am the proud new owner of a 6 mo old male normal cockatiel - Lucas!
 It turns out that Lucas had a healed broken wing when I acquired him,
 making him a little unsteady, but no wing-clipping necessary.  He hates
 being removed from by shoulder by anyone, even me, but doesn't bite.

I am getting a cockatiel and so is my gram.  I would like to know how
 to take care of them and breed them so I am searching for info on the
 internet.

I have one cockatiel, Sydnee, who says Hello, Pretty Bird, and makes a
 large assortment of noises.  I am also the hopeful owner of a Jardine's
 parrot.

We've owned several cockatiels and just love them   so I was tickled to
 find your web page.

Our newest family member is an 8wk. old Timneh we named Gideon. He is
 a little sweetie. We have no exp. with AG's, but I am sure we will be
 trained quickly. Gideon joins a rather lg. family comprised of 4 cats,
 a bunny, guinea pig,'tiel, 4 budgies,2 finches,teenage son & husband.

Hi, my name is shai and I am writing from israel, I have a cocateil
 (female) and a dog.  My bird is hand tamed and she is sitting on my
 hand, and kissing me on the chick. She also learned the familly
 whistheling and   she makes us crasy !!

Cockatiels seem really popular all over the world, no wonder, they are a
 great pet - very friendly, trainable & not too big!  I have seen them
 in   their natural state.  Flocks of hundreds!  Along with other Aussie
 parrots.  They are very special.

I  had a collection of more than 100 birds mostly parakeets. My
 favourite bird is G.M.Rosella. I think birds are the most wonderful
 aspect of nature.

I just got an African Grey Parrot.  I saw it for the first time
 yesterday, and I hope to have it at home within 2 weeks.  I am so
 excited!

my canine kids are: kumo, age 5, rottweiler, yuki, age 4, akita, and
 rosie, age 11, aussie mix

Have 11 birds-one Timneh, 4 mos.  Love your page.  Member of 2 bird
 clubs.  Interested in any information regarding Timnehs.  So far, "Tim"
 seems really intellegent and discovering his voice.  Any advise on

We've got a Yellow Nape Amazon, her name is Odie. She also loves head
 scratchs, pasta with garlic & oil, mashed potatoes and our flesh
 occasionally. She's sleeping right now, but would say "hi you" and "I
 love you". She plays rock-a-bye too.

I love African Grey Parrots, and Bullmastiff Doggies.   I really, really
 love all pets. and thats it!!!!!

Timmy the Timneh and Petrie the Sun-capped Conure send their greetings

Phoenix is a 16 week old timneh, and i'm her entertainment, massage,
 transportation and food service.  She is the brightest point of my day.

 New England  My freeflying cockatiel Pearly swoops over my head when I

I had to give away my "babies" (two sister cats, one year old) because
 of my allergies.  I was so sad and lonely!  So I recently got a
 handicapped Timneh African Grey.  Her name is Google and she is so
 sweet!

thanks. i'm bossed around by four parrots - two african greys, one
 green-winged macaw and a cherry-headed conure.  also two cats. wouldn't
 trade them for almost anything!
