Yes, Greys are quite superior I breed  the wonderful Timmys and cannot
 keep up  with the demand. At last they are getting the recognition they
 readily deserve- Happy birding everyone

This website is great.....VERY well done.  I'm an African Grey lover and
 can't wait till the day i can get one of my own (living situation not
 condusive to Grey owning).  Any good breeders in the area you know
 about, i'd appreciate hearing about them for when i make the plunge!

Cool.  We've got a pair of crows that raise young near our  house.
 We've taken to feeding them peanuts and what have you.  They'll follow
 us about on walks, and keep follow us around in   the yard.   I bet
 they think they've got us trained quite well.

Came back for a second look! I've got a new E-mail addy and also got my
 timney! He's a male and his name is Noah. He's 4 months old and such a
 love! Eats everything and trying his vocal abilities out. I  hope to
 record him when he starts talking. I always enjoy listening to Tomi!

Hi Am mother of eight children lived in S.F. Mendocino, Santa Cruz, Cal
 and other states.  Am rushing, but will really enjoy your info in the
 a.m.  and will write again (picking up kids)-- just got a beautiful
 africian grey  April 10 is birthday 1 yr old and I love it!  Have a sun
 conure, five budgies,two  cockateils and now the big one!  reading and
 learning.  I think its a wonderful addition  to our large family.
 silver is cleaner than my kids!  Have three dogs that I don't trust

Question:  Does covering up Your Grey at night create a problem?  Can he
 survive without being covered?

 I am a birdkeeper who's just got into the net.  Came across your stuff
 whilst  looking for just what is avaliable on birds.  I keep mainly
 finches, neophemas,  canaries and Pekin robins.  I wish I was as
 conversant with the computer as I  am with birds - I don't even know if
 you'll get this message.  Fingers crossed.  I'll be back.

Great page, I love greys and all my other pets, snakes included. I live
 in a zoo I think sometimes with all the animals we have.Pet Rats,
 cockatiel,parakeet.lizards scorpions, husband,tortoise and soon to have
 son home too. What a managerie. I'm also an avid video collector, with
 enough movies to start my own business(so my husband says)

i have 1 gray{Lilly(boy)}, 2 lutino cockatiels(Samantha & Little Boy) &
 1 jenday conure (Toby-girl)....i have never had so much fun owning such
 animals... they are amazing with our black lab. !!!!!! soon i will have
 pics of my family crtters!!!!!

Dude  4year old pied...spoiled rotten and my husband's buddy  Tooga  12
 year+ Latino...Sweet as sugar and my tagalong  Snow White  less than 1
 year finch.. Quiet compared to Dude and Tooga  Dude has vast
 vocabulary.  " Hey Dude"What's you doing dude"  What's that?'  "I don't
 think so"  "NO"   "Gimme Sugar"  Let's face it I'm proud of him.  Tooga
 doesn't say much, but tries real hard,  loves to clean my eyelashes,
 and spends hours on my shoulder.  I'm planning on getting more birds
 soon.

I love parrots!!  African Greys are the coolest and so are cockatoos and
 cockateils!!  I'm a 16 yr old male who has fallen in love with these
 beautiful birds.  Ever since I laid eyes on them I had to have one, so
 my parents got me one.  So, I'm proud to say that I'm the proud owner
 of a baby 4 month old Congo African Grey named Babe!!

I am buying one on Monday, and very excited!!  Never had a Grey before?
 Can you tell me any more abut the "dust" on Grey's  Is it really
 strong?  My concerns are on the Allergy effects.    I'm buying from a
 breeder, the babies are 13 weeks,  going tomorrow to buy the cage.  any

It takes a very special person to understand and care for birds. Much
 better than cats and dogs. Every cockatiel can wolf
 whistle...especially the males.

Hi I'm owned by Tokkie who's a nearly 3yr Timneh. He's attached himself
 to me but only learns new words & things from my boyfriend, whom he
 loves to bite! He'll only obey UP command to my hand when in his cage.

Hi, Crow "Parents",  glad to see that other people have the same
 "problems". In fact, my story with "Enrico" is about the same  His
 behaviour is exactly the same. Enrico is now one year old, has a
 handicap with one leg (it feels nothing, so he can't  grab with it) and
 he has not enough feathers to fly. We had him at the doctor and  now
 the feathers are coming one by one. But, after all, he seems to be very
 happy, sitting in his area of  about 150 square-mtrs. Each day we spend
 a few hours in my office, me trying to work, he trying to destroy

We just purchased a cockatiel and are trying to learn his needs and
 wants him is 4 months old and at present we call him *Preety Boy Floyd*
