This is Fume (a.k.a. HRH - Her Royal Highness), 10-month old pearl cockatiel hen that I hand-raised. She recently suffered a freak accident during a routine surgery a couple weeks ago and was severely burned. You can read all about this spunky little bird and the remarkable recovery she is making in her bio. Also make sure to read about the other members of the Spector flock below.
Needless to say, caring for such a large and varied flock is time consuming yet fun. If you're wondering what a typical day in the Spector household is like, come take a peek at "A Day in the Life..."

These were followed by a cockatiel who hated everyone and after several years, still would turn into a little toothpick when anyone paid any attention to it. (This bird was *also* owned by my sister.)
However, I now own five cockatiels, a yellow-collared macaw, and a Congo African Grey. How did I go from indifference to addiction? Read on...
