I left my heart in San Francisco...

So buddy, how 'bout it? Wanna share?

Note: I do not encourage putting parrots and other pets together. These pictures were taken during my last visit to my parent's house. This meeting was carefully supervised and Kaia and Tomi have known each other for years. They are never left out together unsupervised. Needless to say, Tomi did not get to taste any of the milk as the bacteria in cats' (as well as human's) saliva can be very dangerous to parrots. Also, regarding the picture of Tomi and the donut... the second we saw he had made his way onto the kitchen counter, we snapped the picture and then the grueling fight to reclaim the donut ensued. As I tried to get the donut away from him, Tomi was in rare form, growling and scrambling around the kitchen counter clutching the coveted treasure in his beak! Tomi is not allowed to have donuts (although Tomi would kill for anything sweet). I do admit to giving him juice from time to time. ;-) I do believe that his previous owners, albeit innocently, let him eat a lot of things he shouldn't have because it sure is funny the way he knows which "NO-NO" foods are good to eat!!

Places to go, things to see!
